Digging into Habitat for Humanity

On Saturday, July 27, 2019, a dedicated team of Council 13517 Knights volunteered 28 hours of their time to help build another Habitat for Humanity home in Twinsburg, Ohio. This was our second service day for the Habitat building year.

For over ten years our knights worked with businesses and churches in the Hudson, Ohio area, to form the Hudson Coalition, donating their time, talents and monetary funds to do the Lord’s work in providing affordable housing for needy families. The council donates $500.00 each year the Coalition, and has provided over $6,000.00 in funding since becoming involved with this worthwhile program.

It also provides us an opportunity to work with other faith based organizations. We will recognize and thank our volunteers at our next council meeting.
