Since September 2019, Council 13517 has begun planning the Consecration to the Holy Family mass at Immaculate Heart of Mary in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. From October through December, notices in the church bulletin began reminding parishioners of the mass, to be held on December 29th. The notice included information on how families should prepare for this important mass as it is not a one time event. In November, Brother Knights spoke at all masses, again reminding all of the event and the need for the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Prayer cards were ordered and administered over two weekend, one prior to the actual mass, and again during the weekend of the Consecration. Lastly, a Knight’s sponsored coffee & donuts was held in the School’s All Purpose Room, designed to continue discussions of the mass and build camaraderie with our Parish brothers and sisters.
